About Us

Founded in the Fall of 2023, the Wisconsin Business Review (WBR) is a student-managed publication for business journalism and research, dedicated to producing unique commentary on relevant topics and issues with a fresh and insightful lens.

We find purpose in pursuing a lasting and positive impact on the community. To achieve this, WBR divides itself into four distinct arms:

  • Current Affairs: A platform for student journalism offering coverage on both local and global news, aiming to keep our community informed.
  • Opinion: A space for presenting unique viewpoints on contemporary topics, encouraging diverse discussion and dialogue among our readers.
  • Events: Committed to the development and engagement of our community, we organize events that serve as opportunities for learning.
  • Research: Dedicated to academic involvement, we participate in school and campus-wide projects to uncover new insights and understandings.

WBR seeks to engage and foster meaningful, productive connections with organizations and individuals that align with these objectives. For the latter, a formal application process shall be conducted for all prospective applicants during the Fall and Spring semesters to recruit new members, operating on a timeline that aligns with the Wisconsin School of Business and its Undergraduate Program.

We're here to put a dent in the universe. Otherwise, why even be here?
