At the Wisconsin Business Review (WBR), we’re on the lookout for ambitious, curious students to join our organization. Once a semester, we conduct new member recruitment, finding and connecting with individuals who are passionate about business journalism. We pride ourselves on diversity and inclusivity, with students from many different backgrounds, including freshman to senior to graduate, to majors ranging in economics, real estate, finance, history, data science.

Eligibility for Membership:

To be considered for membership at WBR, candidates must meet the following criteria at the time of recruitment:

  • Be enrolled as a half-time or full-time student at the University of Wisconsin.
  • Have achieved a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale.

Maintaining Membership:

Being a member of WBR is about continuous growth and contribution. To maintain membership, individuals must adhere to the following:

  • Keep up a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or above.
  • Pay semesterly membership dues as determined by the Executive Board.
  • Participate in our monthly general meetings, unless exceptional circumstances arise. Such cases require the explicit consent of the Vice President of Operations.
